Established nearly 30 years ago with many of its associated brands dating back to the turn of the century the Almor Group is a leading manufacturer in all types of furnaces for the heat treatment industry and other process sectors. The Midlands based firm has joined Made in the Midlands to find opportunities to collaborate with fellow members and, more importantly, learn and share best practice with like minded firms in the region.
The Almor Group has a vast catalogue of manufacturing competencies, their main offerings of expertise lie in furnace engineering (Tipton and Huthwaite) as well as their alloy fabrication site based in Nottingham. Split across two sub brands, Almor produces bespoke medium to large furnaces with their Almor Wellman brand and medium to small furnaces and ovens with their Almor Wild Barfield brand.
The firm found out about the Made in Group a couple of years ago and thought joining would be a great opportunity to raise their online profile and become more involved with the Midlands manufacturing community. However, due to investment into the business, it wasn't the right time for the company to join. Now the firm is ready to share their best practices, learn from other industry leaders and build connections with like-minded professionals.
